And we're completely smitten. Delft could not be any cuter - canals filled with water lilies, gorgeous brick buildings, lush greenery, and tons of cute shops and cafes on every corner. It's definitely more lively than we anticipated which is great - we expected a sleepy little town with not much going on. But there are tons of people out biking, walking, and there's tons to explore. When we arrived at our airbnb, which is a super cute attic apartment on the third story of a super cool modern rustic apartment with a balcony and awesome views, we dropped our bags and ventured out into our new city. We ate outside at a cute cafe off the main square (note: club sandwiches in Holland are not the same as club sandwiches in the US) and then explored some random streets and viewed an AMAZING cottage that we're dying to rent (fingers crossed)! We're so in love with this place already and can't wait to explore more.
