Keukenhof Garden // A day in the tulip fields

Tuesday, April 19, 2016

If you don't like flowers or pretty colors, I suggest you skip this post because there are approximately 5 million photos of flowers below. I couldn't help myself. And if you've been to Keukenhof Garden, you understand why. This park is COVERED in all types of flowers of every single color possible. We visited the gardens with both of our parents on the one day their trip overlapped, and it was so much fun strolling the paths with all of them (although I'm sure that if you ask our dads they would have a different story). While all of the flowers were gorgeous to see,  it almost felt like we were at the Disneyland of flowers - there were so many people there walking the paths and crowding around the exhibits. But despite the people and freezing cold weather, I'm so glad we went because tulip season comes and goes so quickly in Holland and these were the only tulip fields we visited this year.

The "vintage garden shed" was on of my favorite parts of the entire park. It was a little exhibit off to the side and filled with tons of goodies like vintage posters, tulips in old cans, and amazing hanging plants and lampshades.

And if you're still here and stuck around for all the photos you get this nice little gem as a thank you :)
