England // Thanksgiving in the English Countryside

Wednesday, November 25, 2015

When you can't be with your family during the holidays, spending Thanksgiving with your best friend in the English countryside is very close second. We knew that we would miss turkey and gravy this year so we jetted off to England to spend the holiday with Mary and her boyfriend Richard in the quaintest, cutest, most amazing airbnb in the whole country. "Snaffles" (as it was called) is a working horse farm equipped with a cozy fire place, huge kitchen, hikes to a rope swing and the farm out the backdoor, and an adorable christmas shoppe out the front. It was the perfect place to spend the most perfect Thanksgiving weekend - cooking up a feast, drinking way too many bottles of wine, spending all weekend in our PJ's, hiking the country side, cozy pubs, awkward telephone booth selfies, staying up all night drinking, talking and laughing, dancing and singing to Adele and Justin Bieber on repeat, and teaching Richard how to play beer pong. We are so thankful to have spent this time with our favorite friends that felt like family. We love you Mary & Richard and can't wait for another Snaffles weekend! xo
