December was cold, grey, and full of christmas spirit and fun memories. Some highlights included:
- Experiencing the dark days & nights of delft
- Exploring Amsterdam for the first time
- Getting our baby christmas tree and decorating for the holidays!
- The Lights Festival in Delft and discovering delicious Oliebollen!
- Discovering more hidden gems and pretty sites in our little town
- The Florence & the Machine concert in Amsterdam (there are no words. It's was just amazing)
- Seeing the Magnum Contact Sheet exhibit at the FOAM Museum in Amsterdam
- A holiday christmas party with friends before everyone left for the holidays
- Walking Amsterdam and seeing parts of the Amsterdam Light & Water Festival
- Our first friend coming to visit and showing off delft!
- A blurry day and night of beer tasting and bar hoping in Delft, ending the night with some karaoke in Den Haag
- Climbing to the top of the New Church in Delft to see the town from above
- Cheese tasting yummy dutch cheese
- Cologne Christmas Markets!
- Finally going into the little store by the main square that sells clogs & old tiles after wanting to for months, getting traditional wooden clogs for a new christmas tradition, and chatting with the store owner who told me stories about Delft and dutch traditions back in his day
- Going to Amsterdam on christmas eve to see the circus and have dinner
- Making new traditions (making pastries and christmas day bike rides) and spending a cozy christmas day in our little town
- Spending most of the month re-watching all of the star wars episodes before finally seeing the new Star Wars on Christmas Day!
- Exploring my favorite places in Prague
- It snowing and seeing the crazy fireworks in Prague New Years Eve
